Innovation Day review

Hello! and welcome to Blazes Blog! Today I will be reflecting about my Innovation day Project that I worked on. What were my feelings before I started the Innovation Day project? Before I started my project, I got to choose if I wanted to work with a partner or not. But that was hard because my other friend was not present (@BlueEnergy) so I decided to work alone. I realized that working independently might be easier than working with a friend/partner (for me) in the future I might work independently more in different projects. I also got to understand how circuits work and create one. In the end, I did not get the top 3, but it was for the experience. I had a lot of fun! And Thank You For Listening!

Citations de Will Smith

Bonjour! Je m’appelle Liam. Il y a un video de Will Smith qui dit de citations, je besoin choise une citation qui je pense est le meillure.

“He who says he can’t and he who said he can, are both usually correct.

“La personne qui dit je peux au je me peux pas, ils d’habitude ont raison”

I like this sentence the most because if you believe in yourself, you will achieve that goal. If you don’t, you will fail”

Jewish Studies

Hello, my name is Liam and today I am talking about Jewish studies.

What did I learn about in Jewish studies this term?

During this Jewish studies term, we learned about the Brit milah. The brit milah is important because it is a sign of a covenant between you and G-d. Males get a circumcision at 8 days old, if you don’t get circumcised “you shall be cut off from your kin” Words from G-d.

If you are a male and a firstborn child, a ceremony will occur “Pidyon Haben” It’s a redemption of the firstborn son. They lost their privilege after participating in the Golden Calf. they have to pay 5 silver coins to the cohen for the redemption of the firstborn child.

Another subject we learned about is baby naming.

  • The Hebrew name is the channel by which life reaches you from above
  • Baby girls often receive their name after the Torah is read at the synagogue
  • The rabbi recites a prayer for the health of the mother and child and the name is announced
  • A boy is named at his Brit milah (circumcision) when he enters into the covenant of Abraham

These are important because it’s a tradition of the Jews.

This assignment is about my family and how I got my name, you can learn everything about me in these slides. I don’t know what I could have improved on this project, maybe you can help me. But sadly I didn’t find any interesting facts about my family other than 1 (didn’t include In the project)

Apparently, my dad’s third cousin is Jeremy kleiner, he is a famous producer.

The most famous movie he’s produced is 12 Years a slave.

Histoire Extraordinaire

Bonjour! Je m’appel Liam, C’ette Project est a propos d’equite. Je fais cette project dans un groupe, je fais le project a propos un Vache et Space. Il y a un vache qui explorer space et il trouve un planete qui ne pas font d’equite.

Ici le project.

Public speaking

Hey guys down below is my public speaking, enjoy

In my opinion, I think the world is a pretty cool place. I mean what are the chances of the earth not being frozen to death or burnt to death, like mercury and Uranus. Th-The planet not the… you know what, never mind. All I am trying to say is how lucky we are to be alive on this planet, so in this writing I will be explaining the creation of our Marvelous world.

First I will be explaining the big bang, Then the creation of the solar system (plus our world) And finally… The evolution of our planet, Enjoy 🙂

A long time ago, about 13.7billion years ago, every single thing that you can imagine was condensed into one point at the size of infinitely small. This extremely small point exploded with unimaginable energy and still today it’s growing. This is a scientific theory that most scientists believe in because there is evidence in its existence such as expansion of the universe, Cosmic microwave background radiation, Abundances of the lightest chemical elements and the age of the oldest-known stars. All of this evidence comes from some people, for the expansion of our universe it was Edwin Hubble who found out about it, for Cosmic microwave background radiation it was Robert Wilson and Arno Penzia,  Abundances of the lightest chemical elements it was George Gamow , and for the age of the oldest-known stars was from many scientists. With all this evidence we cover that the big bang might exist. With a nebula (a giant cloud of dust) a nebula can form stars, and because of this we move onto our next topic.

Our solar system was nearly created about 4.5 billion years ago from a dense cloud of interstellar gas and dust. The dust cloud collapsed perhaps due to a shockwave from a nearby exploding star, a supernova. When the nebula cloud collapsed, it formed a solar nebula- a gaseous spinning cloud and the width of 65 light years. With a solar nebula it kept on spinning and spinning ETC until everything flattened into a disk formation. In the center all the materials clumped together, the matter condensed into a burning ball of gas to create a protostar. Over the next millions of years the temperature and pressure of the material inside increased, and the starting of the merging hydrogen that made the sun we know today.

This is when we move onto the planets. Surrounding the sun were a bunch of particles left from the formation of the sun. With these particles all of them clumped together forming planets. Luckily the earth is not too close or too far from the sun. Because of this we can live. Fun fact! did you know the sun takes up 99% of the solar system’s mass? That means we are basically living in the atmosphere of the sun. 😉 With all of this AMAZING information we move onto the third paragraph.

After the next millions of years the earth cooled down from being a burning planet with seas of lava and a poisonous atmosphere.  As it cooled down, water from inside the earth rose to the surface. Formed steam and rain back to the ground, ice meteors kept on landing on earth. So gradually the earth cooled down and the surface formed a lean crust. Till the volcanoes on the oceans bed blew magma to the top, which eventually cooled down to form volcanic islands. Which all blend together forming a single giant continent named “Pangaea ” Inside the earth the boiling rocks continue to move around moving the crust below, and breaking it apart. Through a procedure called “Plate tectonics’ ‘ And so the earth’s crust moved around, Pangaea broke apart so its pieces strolled away forming the continents we see today. Good rhyming ey? So modern earth took its form. Now we get to living life on earth and how we got here today “Evolution”

Starting off with Microbes. Microbes are tiny living things we cant see with our naked eye. It evolved to bacteria, to mitochondria and plastids and so on. Till all this tiny blobby stuff actually evolved to a living thing, “Agnathans’ ‘ then to early bony fishes to tetrapods (4 legged animals) to Mammals. That’s a lot of evolution going on, but that’s only the beginning of it. So we skip a few millions of years till we get to the Jurassic Era. We all know that a meteor hit and wiped all living dinosaurs, due to a lack of fresh air, hydration ,food and Impact from the shockwave. Then we get to the Stone Age to humans. Greek Era to Vikings then to Elizabethan era/Shakespeare Then the American revolutionary war ( Franklin to Washington) to Reconstruction era (Abraham Lincoln) then to WW 1 to WW 2 skip a few decades and we get to today 2023.

But overall. Space is still expanding till this day, earth may keep spinning as it wishes, and human evolution may continue. This… This is why we can live a happy and grateful life without any problems, being a newborn to a senior.

Thank you 🙂
